La Kurupira
La The Kurupira floating cabin is a small floating hotel located on the Amazon river 10 minutes outside of Leticia.
The hotel is built with Wood in an native way. Its environment allowes you to observe dolphins, feel the river breeze, enjoy starry nights, feel the perfumes and sounds of the jungle.

Five nights at floating cabin Kurupira
Kurupira floating cabin, Tres Fronteras, Monkey Island, Puerto Nariño, Maloca Wayruru, Canopy and Kayak.
First Day
-Transfer to the official River-port of Leticia.
- Board the boat for a 10-minute boat-trip on the Amazon River to arrive at the floating cabin Kurupira.
- After Lunch visit the Fantasia island by walking, or visit the Santander park in Leticia. Dinner and Lodging at the Kurupira floating cabin.
Second Day
Peru and Brazil. Yavari River and Benjamin Constant
- After breakfast at 7:30 am we will navigate the Amazon River down to the Yavari River, which forms the border between Brazil and Peru.
Visit the logging town Islandia in Peru to get to know the surroundings.
Visit to the Zacambu lakes in Brazil.
Traditional fishing and canoeing.
Typical lunch and visit to the Aldea town to see fauna.
In the afternoon we return to the Flaoting cabin Kurupira. Supper and lodging
Third Day
Monkey Island, Puerto Nariño, Correo Lakes.
- Breakfast at Kurupira. Visit to the Victoria Amazonica blossom and Monkey Island, sailing approximately an hour and a half on the Amazon River. Visit to the native indigenous village of Macedonia.
Lunch in the town of Puerto Nariño. Stroll around the town. Visit the Correo Lakes to possibly spot pink dolphins.
In the afternoon, return to Kurupira floating cabin.

Fourth Day
Indigenous Wayruru Maloka
- After breakfast at the Kurupira floating cabin, transfer to kilometer 7 outside of Leticia. Walk in the jungle for approximately an hour and a half towards the Wairuru indigenous Maloka of the Huitoto ethnic group.
Bathing in the Tacana ravine. Visit to the farm to learn about medicinal plants. Typical lunch.
Talk in Maloca about the customars of the Huitoto entity.
at 3:30 pm approximately one hour walk and transfer to the Kurupira floating cabin.
Supper and lodging at Kurupira floating cabin
Fifth Day
Kanopy, kayak o caminata en selva.
After breakfast transfer to Taninboca reserve.
Walk of approximately 20 minutes along a path.
TREE-CLIMB, CANOPY AND HANGING BRIDGE
A climb with mountain-climbing equipment to a 35 m/114 ft-tall platform with an incredible view of the canopy rooftop of the jungle (also called Dossel). With a 35 m/114 ft long zip-line or aerial runway to a second platform and an third, 110 m/360 ft-long zip-line with slightly more incline, leading to the 25 m/82 ft-long hanging bridge and, finally, descent by rappel.
KAYAK OUTING OR GUIDED TOUR
The outing lasts approximately an hour, depending on the degree of experience of the visitors and the water-level, which is a limiting factor for doing this activity during low water season (July-October). For that reason, there is the option of a guided tour along the bank of the creek.
The end of the outing is the restaurant, which offers typical regional foods. Lunch. Return to the Reserve and lodging at the Tree house.
Sixth Day
After breakfast return to Leticia by public boat
*Free time to purchase Crafts.
-Transfer to the airport.
