La Kurupira

The floating cabin is a small floating hotel located on the AmazoKurupiran river 10 minutes outside of Leticia.

The hotel is built with Wood in an native way.

 

Its environment allowes you to observe dolphins, feel the river breeze, enjoy starry nights, feel the perfumes and sounds of the jungle.

Day One

 

-Transfer to the port of Leticia!
-Board a boat for a 10-minute cruise on the Amazon River to the Kurupira Floating Cabin.
Lunch
-Walk on Fantasía Island to experience the native environment or visit Leticia to visit the Parrot Park.

Day Two

 

Monkey Island, Puerto Nariño, and Correo Lakes

- Breakfast on the Kurupira. Visit to Monkey Island, sailing for approximately an hour and a half on the Amazon River. Visit to the Macedonia Indigenous community. Visit to the Lotus Flower.
- Traditional lunch in Puerto Nariño. Walk in the village. Visit to the Correo Lakes when the river is high to observe pink dolphins.
- In the afternoon, return to the Kurupira floating cabin.

Day Three

 

- Visit to the Wayruru indigenous maloca.
- Breakfast at the Kurupira.
Transfer to the outskirts of Leticia for an approximately hour and a half hike through the jungle to the Wayruru indigenous maloca.
At the maloca, we will chat with the grandfather about ancestral traditions and learn about mambe, rapeseed, and ambil. We will also have a traditional lunch.
Swim in the Tacana ravine, fish if possible, and a leaf-foliage craft workshop.
Visit to the chagra (farm) to learn about medicinal plants.
Return to the treehouse at approximately 3 pm.
Dinner and overnight stay in the treehouse.
- Night walk in the forest.
