La Kurupira
La The Kurupira floating cabin is a small floating hotel located on the Amazon river 10 minutes outside of Leticia.
The hotel is built with Wood in an native way. Its environment allowes you to observe dolphins, feel the river breeze, enjoy starry nights, feel the perfumes and sounds of the jungle.

2 nights at Kurupira floating cabin, 2 nights al Heliconia natural reserve
Floating cabin Kurupira, Lotus flower, Monkey Island, Puerto Nariño, Yavari river Natural reserve Heliconia.
First Day
-Transfer to the official River-port of Leticia.
- Board the boat for a 10-minute boat-trip on the Amazon River to arrive at the floating cabin Kurupira.
- After Lunch visit the Fantasia island by walking, or visit the Santander park in Leticia. Dinner and Lodging at the Kurupira floating cabin.
Second Day
Monkey Island, Puerto Nariño, Macedonian indigenous community and Correo Lakes.
- Breakfast at Kurupira.
Visit to the Victoria Amazonica blossom and Monkey Island, sailing approximately an hour and a half on the Amazon River. Visit to the native indigenous village of Macedonia.
Lunch in the town of Puerto Nariño. Stroll around the town. Visit the Correo Lakes to possibly spot pink dolphins.
In the afternoon, return to Kurupira floating cabin.
Supper and lodging at Kurupira floating cabin.
Third Day
Heliconia Reserve
- After breakfast, we will board a boat that will take us to the NATURAL RESERVE HELICONIA the journey will take approximately four hours, during which time we will navigate the majestic Amazon River. Thereafter, we will enter one of its largest and most important tributaries, the Yavarí River, a natural border between Brazil and Peru.
At noon, we will be arriving at the Eco-Hotel of the HELICONIA NATURAL RESERVE. After having a delicious typical Amazon lunch, you will have at your disposal the various activities mentioned below. Any of these can be enjoyed according to the criteria of the guide and the interests and desire of the guest.
ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE AT THE NATURAL RESERVE HELICONIA DURING THE DAYS OF YOUR STAY, ACCORDING TO THE RESPECTIVE PROGRAM:
- Pink Dolphin-Watching.
Visits to native communities.
Canoeing over inundated forest.
Traditional and modern-day fishing.
Exotic Bird-Watching
Jungle trekking with native guides.
Journeys into the lakes around the NATURAL RESERVE forests.
Night outings and Cayman-Watching.
Swimming in natural pools.
Exploring the fauna and flora of the area.
Fifth Day
After breakfast return to Leticia by public boat

-Transfer to the airport.

Entry tax into Leticia and Puerto Nariño, extras not stipulated tips, and other personal expenses.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
When making the reservation, you must send the names and passport information for all guests via email.
At the NATURAL RESERVE HELICONIA, there is electricity from 6 pm to 9 pm. During this time you can charge your cameras or any other electronic equipment.
The water at the NATURAL RESERVE is potable; it is completely safe for drinking.
NATURAL RESERVE HELICONIA is located inside the Amazon trapeze, in the proximity of Leticia, on the Yavarí River, which is the natural border between Brazil and Peru.
The Kurupira floating cabin is located in the Amazon River, 15 minutes outside of Leticia.
